Allyson Overton

Speech Language Pathologist
Allyson has a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Idaho State University and is a nationally certified and state licensed Speech Language Pathologist. I have 14 years of experience working in a variety of settings such as early intervention, schools, hospitals, and private practice. I have had the opportunity to professionally work with children who have developmental delays, oral motor disorders, medically fragile children, and language-based disorders. As well as language-based literacy disorders, down syndrome, social delays, autism, and articulation/phonological disorders. I have received specialized training in childhood apraxia of speech. I am a PROMPT-trained clinician. My philosophy is to work with families, other therapists,s and professionals to understand and support the child as a whole and to make therapy fun and functional.
